Refund and Return Policy At Biswas Imports, customer satisfaction is a priority. However, due to the nature of our business, all sales are final. Please carefully review our cancellation, return, and refund policies below:
All Sales Are Final Once a booking is made, it cannot be reversed. Booking money is non-refundable under normal circumstances.
Cancellation Fees: Late Payment or Failure to Secure Loan Approval If loan approval is not secured within 30 days from the booking date, a penalty of BDT 1,00,000 or 5% of the car price (whichever is higher) will be applied.
If the Car is in the Showroom/Dhaka If the order is cancelled within 3 days after confirmation, a cancellation fee of BDT 50,000 will be charged. After the penalty is deducted, the customer will receive a full refund of the booking amount, or they may choose to exchange the order for another ready-stock vehicle.
If the Car is in Chittagong or Mongla Port If the car is at the port and the customer cancels the order or wants to exchange it for another model within 7 days, a cancellation fee of BDT 1,00,000 will be charged.
For Japan Stock Vehicles If the order is cancelled after the car has arrived at the port or during shipment, a cancellation fee of BDT 1,00,000 will apply.
Automatic Cancellation The order will be automatically canceled if full payment is not received within 30 days from the booking date or the car's arrival date in the showroom. A penalty of BDT 1,00,000 or 5% of the total car price (whichever is higher) will be charged.
Car Loan Issues If the bank does not grant the car loan due to the client's profile (e.g., bad debt or a negative CIB report), Biswas Imports will wait up to 30 days from the booking date. If the client cannot secure the loan and purchase the car, a cancellation fee of BDT 1,00,000 or 5% of the total car price (whichever is higher) will apply. If the car loan is approved but the client fails to pay their portion within 5 days from the purchase order date, the order will be automatically canceled, and a cancellation fee of BDT 1,00,000 or 5% of the total car price (whichever is higher) will be charged.
Pre-Purchase Inspection Customers may take ready-stock cars to any renowned service center/workshop for a pre-purchase inspection. If any engine, gearbox, or hybrid system faults are found, the customer can cancel the order and receive a full refund. Issues such as suspension, shock absorbers, wheel balancing, alignment, brake servicing, rust, or general servicing will be addressed and repaired before delivery.
Auction Sheet Verification Refund for Unsuccessful Auction Sheet Requests: A full refund will be issued if a customer pays for the auction sheet report but does not automatically receive it from our system. Please file a complaint with us at [email protected] or call our hotline for assistance.
Refund for Manual Search Failures: If the auction sheet is not found after a manual search, 50% of the fee will be refunded through online payment.
Responsibility Disclaimer Once an auction sheet is purchased based on a provided chassis number, Biswas Imports will not be held responsible for any mismatch or discrepancy between the auction sheet and the actual vehicle. Customers must ensure the chassis number they provide is accurate before making a purchase.
No Refund for Mismatched Chassis If the customer provides an incorrect or mismatched chassis number that does not align with the vehicle, no refund will be issued for the auction sheet fee.
Manual Auction Sheet Requests For manual auction sheet requests, customers must pay in advance and clearly provide the chassis number and email address or phone number. Our team will make every effort to deliver the auction sheet report within 72 hours of receiving the complete information.
Refund for Failed Manual Searches If the auction sheet cannot be retrieved after a thorough manual search, 50% of the paid amount will be refunded to the customer via online payment.
Auction Sheet/True Report Verification Report Policy If the system automatically generates the auction sheet report and delivers it, the transaction is considered complete and non-refundable. In cases where the auction sheet cannot be found at all, even through manual effort, a full refund will be issued within 7 working days.
Additional Terms: • Complete Payment Requirement: The customer must complete the payment within 15 days of the booking confirmation. If the payment is not completed within this period, the booking will be cancelled, and any advance payments will be forfeited. • Car Loan Issues: Customers must manage a purchase order from the bank within 20 working days. Failure to do so will result in the booking being cancelled, and the advances will not be refunded according to company policy. • Pre-Order Payments: 5 Lakhs Taka must be paid in advance along with booking confirmation for pre-orders. An additional 9 Lakhs Taka should be paid during LC lodgment. The remaining 10 Lakhs Taka must be paid after delivery. • Faults by Biswas Imports: If Biswas Imports is at fault before the vehicle delivery, the customer will receive a full refund of the payment. • Customer's Issues: If the customer fails to purchase the car for personal reasons, a charge of 10% of the car's total value will be deducted from the refund. • Advance Payment Less Than 50,000 Taka: If the customer's advance payment is less than 50,000 Taka and there is no fault or damage on the car from Biswas Imports, the customer will not receive any refund for the advance payment.
